Narnia was one of the first fantasy worlds that really captured my imagination, and the moment Lucy first stumbles across the Lamppost in the forest and meets Mr Tumnus… for me that is magic.
This isn’t the first time I have tried to capture something of this moment, and that was a very early pattern for me. I like to think I have improved a bit.

This time I have focused a bit more on Mr Tumnus.
This pattern also features something that will become regular here at Cunning Cross Stitch, multiple colourways for different skin tones. Back in Dec 2020 I did a survey in the Facebook group, as the upcoming SYOA will feature some characters that you meet, about which four skin tones from the suggestions from Lord Libidan would make for a good spread of representation. The results of which, with a little bit of tweaking, will be used in the SYOA and any other patterns in the future that feature skin tones of fictional people/characters. BECAUSE REPRESENTATION MATTERS.

These patterns are released for free, and have been designed as a homage to the original works. All rights remain with their respective owners. People have asked me how they could show some appreciation for the time/effort involved, for which I have set up a ko-fi account. This is entirely voluntary, and much appreciated.
